What is a Canada Visa?
If you are a citizen of Latvia or Bulgaria and you want to visit Canada, you need to apply for a Canada visa. How to Apply for a Canada Visa

Countries that Require an Electronic Travel Authorization

To apply for an eTA, you must first submit your passport photo, the application fee ( CAD$60 ), and other required documents to the Canadian Embassy orConsulate in your home country. After receiving your application, the embassy or consulate will send you an email notification stating that your application has been processed and asking for additional information.
If you are approved for an eTA, it will be valid for six months from the date it was issued. You must carry your eTA with you when travelling to Canada. If you are refused entry into Canada because of an invalid eTA, you may be able to apply for a temporary resident permit instead.
Countries that Require a Physical Visa
Canada offers a visa-free entry for Latvian citizens who hold a valid passport and a visa application. To obtain a visa, you will need to visit the Canadian Embassy or consulate in your home country.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides information on obtaining a Canada visa. In order to qualify for a Canada visa, you must have an invitation letter from a Canadian citizen or company, be able to support yourself financially while in Canada, and have no criminal record. Who Qualifies for a Canada Visa?

To qualify for a Canada visa as a citizen of Latvia or Bulgaria, you must:

When is the best time to apply for a Canada visa?
